How do I apply?

If you are incurring work based expenses for mileage, products or services you’re neither provided with or indeed reimbursed for by your company, you’re entitled to a tax refund. So, don’t delay – give us a call (telephone number. We can arrange for an application pack to be sent out to you. You need to read through our Terms and Conditions which are available on the website, then complete the application form and sign the ‘Authorise your agent’ 64-8 form. Then return both to us using the Prepaid envelope included.

What is the Process?

We will keep you informed regarding the progress of your claim through email or text. The whole process usually takes 8-10 weeks.

How much could I get?

On average we reclaim around £2000 per client, which averages £500 per year for the past 4 years.   Four years is the limit that HMRC allows us to go back and claim on your behalf. Essentially we can reclaim your travel expenses for the following tax years: 2010/11; 2011/12; 2012/13; 2013/14 and from April 2015, we will be able to claim your expenses for the 2014/15 tax year. Example: George has a van and uses it for work. Last year, he drove 15,000 miles for work. George has kept records of his journeys, mileage etc. He may be able to claim tax relief on £5,750 of his income (4500 (10,000 x 45p) + 1,250 (5,000 x 25p) = £5,750).    

When will I receive my refund?

As soon as we have been notified that HRMC have approved your claim and the funds have been received, we will contact you immediately to arrange to transfer payment into your bank account.

How much do you charge?
